The Goals of this Class !
To understand the Basic operational principles and Theory behind Eddy Current Testing.
To understand the importance and criticality of Eddy Current Testing.
To know the basic equipment configurations and set-up for proper testing.
To know the proper procedures for obtaining credible testing results, (i.e. probe usage, test angles, voltage/current settings…etc).
To review eddy current results and interpret the testing data in order to find flaws, defects and anomalies in parts tested.
To be able to operate Eddy Current Testing equipment.
To perform a simple calibration of Eddy Current Test equipment.
To meet the minimum requirements of NDE ANST LEVEL I Certification.
